Oh hell, here's one....now....

There is this place over here near Youngstown, OH that they call Zombie Land....they call it that because there are countless rumors of this place being haunted....there is a real popular story but I can't quite remember how it goes, but there are stories of ghosts running alongside trains that aren't there and shit like that...Well, one time me and two friends were coming back from Pittsburgh Airport getting wrestling autographs and we decided to drive thru there....now Zombie Land is not a tourist attraction or any garbage like that, this is just a nickname for this area....We were driving thru there in a heavy wooded area and a dog came out of nowhere and started chasing our car barking like a son of a bitch...about a minute or so later, the barking stopped and the dog was NOWHERE to be seen....small little incident but if you were there, you would've realized how weird it was...

I have several stories. By the way, I believe in both ghosts AND angels.

When I was growing up, we lived in an old farmhouse that was over 100 years old. Part of it was an old one room schoolhouse that the house was actually built around. We had a ghost we called 'Joey'. Joey was a little boy that died in the 20's in that house, so we just figured that it was him. He was a good ghost, though, and never "haunted".

-or-

My angel story. My sister was scared to death of the dark when we were growing up. My aunt (my sister and her were very close and actually alot alike) told her once she would make sure that nothing bad would ever happen to my sister. We had a bedtime and once we were upstairs we had to make sure all the lights were out, which totally freaked my sister out. Every night, about a half an hour after we went upstairs to bed, a light would shine into our bedroom. We never figured out where it came from, but it shone through that window all night long, every night for several years.

My aunt died in a car accident in 1981. That night none of us slept. The next night, the light was there as usual, and showed through that window until my sister went off to college. We never knew where that light was coming from.

About a year ago, my cousin explained it to us. The very night that my aunt promised my sister that she would never let anything happen to her, my cousin and my aunt waited until dark, drove the long way around the farm (we had a prairie road all the way around the place), parked down by the grain bins, and slept in their car with the lights shining into our bedroom window all night long. Because it was behind the grain bins, we couldn't see where it was coming from or what it looked like. It was just a light.

He asked my sister how she slept after his mom died (5 years before the lights stopped) and she said the same as usual. He then explained that every single night for all those years, my aunt did this for her. He figured that she knew once the lights stopped where they had come from, but what he didn't know, is that the lights didn't stop until the night my sister graduated from high school. I never saw them again. Even in death, my aunt made sure that my sister would never have to fear the dark.
